PARSONS BAKERY
A family bakery with over 50 shops across the South West of England, known for quality at a fair price.
The brief
Follow the journey of a loaf from the oven to the shop, and show the friendliness of the staff and the warmth of the shops.
How we did it
I photographed the bakers at the ovens, the factory team making flapjacks and cakes, and the shops from the street right through to the counter. Since the first shoot, the work has grown to include product photography for their adverts and campaigns.
It’s the kind of job I love, because it draws on my editorial background: telling a story in pictures, from the first loaf out of the oven to the customer leaving with it.
