I've loved framing the world since I first picked up a camera.
Now I put that to work for businesses, creating photographs that win customers, and for photographers, helping them make the images they've always dreamed of.
Most people hate having their photo taken, so I keep things relaxed. I will let you know what’s going on, show you the shots as we go, and a bit of coaching can change how you look in seconds.
He was calm, kind, and he made the whole process feel relaxed and fun.
I was so nervous beforehand; I’ve never done anything like this before and had no idea what to do with my face, hands... anything really. And of course, the photos turned out incredible.

Why you can trust the results
I came to photography quite late, in my mid-thirties, while touring as a bass player, and jumped in with both feet.

Fashion taught me how to make people look good, and advertising taught me how to get a message across. Your business photos need both.
You get photos you didn't know to ask for
A lot of being creative on a shoot is just paying attention. I was photographing for Truespeed, the broadband company, and we were working on something else when I spotted one of their pink vans reflected in the window of a house, right next to the front door.
Their whole message is broadband delivered to your home, and there it was. I took the shot, flipped it in Photoshop so the writing read the right way round, and gave them an image they hadn't asked for.
Book a call, we'll plan the shoot together, and you'll have edited images within 72 hours.
Always captures the brief and beyond.
We have used Marcus multiple times, ultimate professional, great fun and a totally relaxed experience. Highly Recommend.

Teaching has always been part of my life. Even as a musician I taught at the Bass Institute of Technology in London. Teaching helps me learn because it makes me find a simple way of explaining complicated things. I'll admit I also like showing off what I know! Mostly, though, I teach to help you enjoy photography and get the work you want.
“Marcus was fantastic at breaking down each program into weekly segments and talking it through in simple terms. He was able to give me weekly feedback on my photos and challenge me for the next lesson. By the end of my 6 lessons, I'm able to shoot in manual and get my way around Lightroom.”
